Starting with Eddie Gomez vs. Marcus Hall. (On a delay) This content is protected This content is protected
Round 1 Hall dances around, flicking jabs. Gomez times him and catches him with a MONSTER of a right hand. Hall is plunked down hard. Hall shakes the cobwebs and gets up, only to be harassed to the ropes and batted down again. Hall gets right up on his toes and bounces, trying to show the referee he's OK. Gomez stalks, jabbing at the taller man. VICIOUS left hook to the flank, and HALL IS DONE! KO1!!!
Gomez is a real destroyer. He's got the build, the in-ring demeanor, the overall look. He could be a star.
Round 1 Rodriguez digs a right to the body, then keeps swerving around in a wide arc with his guard up high and tight. Perez throws a few low-cutting hooks but gets blocked with quick drops of the arm by Rodriguez. Quick glancing combo up top by Perez. They exchange as Rodriguez steps inside, and Perez lands a PERFECT, SPLEEN-BUSTING LEFT HOOK!!! DELAYED REACTION!!! RODRIGUEZ IS ON HIS KNEES!!! HE IS GASPING FOR BREATH!!! HE IS POUNDING HIS CHEST!! HE TRIES TO GET UP, BUT HE IS PHYSICALLY UNABLE! DOWN, UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN! The referee has seen enough. ONE PUNCH BODY SHOT KNOCKOUT!!!
I really need to get the computer and tv in the same room, on a consistent basis... I'll be here, in spirit.
The first TWO fights. The main event and co-main event both just ended in first round knockouts! atsch How are Telefutura going to kill the next ninety minutes now? How many 4 round swing bouts can they pull out of their ass?
Telefutura has great cards sometimes: Brian Vera Vs. Eloy Suarez James Kirkland Vs. Denis Sharpe or Jessie Vargas Vs. Walter Estrada Tonight the cards ok. I think they'll get better fights since ESPN 2 is out until Feb.
