a few months back i went in the ring with this guy http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=529432&cat=boxer only for 2 3minute rounds and he kicked the **** out of me he dropped me in the first 10 seconds and busted my nose up i barely survived (i also boxed against fres oquendos son solomon back in freshmen year i forgot how many rounds but he kicked my ass too ) what about you guys? :bbb
I boxed with Harry Greb. Really messed his face up, thats where the bad eye came from but we tried to keep it out the public arena because we were good friends. We actually filmed the sparring but there doesn't seem to be any demand for the footage so we keep it in a Swiss bank vault. Not a big deal like, but hey, its a professional.
Yea my trainers son. I lost without question. I was hella cocky and thought I could contend with anyone in the gym When I got better I did face him again and most people felt I edged him.
same here i was really cocky too... until i got my ass kicked if that sparring session would have gone one more round it would have ended up like bowe/golota
I have. No lie, after a few sparring sessions, I got the best out of many pro fighters. Our sparring sessions were wars. We were advised to fight as if in a real right. One of my main sparring partners was highly ranked for a while, and continental champion as well. His name jorge martinez, look him up. I have to say, I had great potential, but circumstances really prevented me from making it a career. Every pro fighter I had the privilege of putting them on with, I more than held my own. No lie,after only a few months of training I was doing all this.
