White has competed. I recall seeing a few of his matches years ago.
This cat is the real deal but hasn't bothered to box professionally since he has been earning millions making movies for the last 25 years.

All White has to do, is jab Kimbo, and he'll get KTFO.

I always wondered what the last guy to run in and get his ass whipped is always thinking.

You just seen 6 of your boys get ***** slapped without the other guy breaking a sweat. You seen the toughest dude in your crew lying on the ground cryin like a baby.

And you still run in at the last second with no fight plan lol?

Anderson Silva is pretty much what would happen if you teleported Mayweather back to the 1920's. You got a sport in its infancy and one guy is already a master.

Thus not alot of competitive fights.

Honestly I know people are going to bash mike Because that's how these E-boxers are but I feel that what he is saying is accurate. Of course in a real fight he's going to do things that he didn't say in this video, but for me, I'm just listening to the concept.

This is what I see in manny pacquiao. Manny throws a lot of arm punches especially when shadow boxing but if you look at his fights he throws th from where he is set with out cocking back. Most direct manner. To me, that's why he does so much damage because you are it before you know. His idol Bruce L. Threw them the same way.

I would like to see him in an actual fight but I dint necessarily disagree w him

MJW is a good guy; always been a fan and he played Tyson in the movie...ummm Tyson. But basically that clip (old btw) is saying that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Sure. care. He disses boxing by talking about how boxers are "trained to telegraph and read each others punches. Unfortunately, you HAVE to use more movement than being completely stationary and throwing a straight line punch. That is why there are feints, footwork and throwing "telegraphed" punches to set up the straight line punch. All that clip is, to me, a David Blane card trick...sounds good but complete BS that has no real world application. I agree with the perception of the eye and the brake light example but again, that does not translate to what happens in the ring. Boxers aren't cars, they don't have brake lights and you have to throw more than straight linear punches because if you did...you would be completely predictable. Str8 1, 2 punches are good for amateurs and early pros but you see MANY fights end by check hooks, uppercuts and other punches that are definitely telegraphed (by his definition) as you can see the shoulder and other parts of the body move prior to the punch being thrown.

Again I like MJW but he should stick to movies and philosophy and GTFO of talking about "boxing mistakes." And ya he looks good...called steroids. That clip he looks pretty natty but he has juiced for years.

Bruce Lee mentions this. It's also about broken rhythm. Some punches you throw slow, some you throw fast, some with power, some without, some from one angle and some from another. It can all be the jab, but if you don't throw the exact same kind of jab every single jab, with the exact same footwork, arm movement, power, etc, it's an untelegraphed jab and it's damn near impossible to avoid.

Untelegraphed punches are what you use on a person who is bigger, faster, stronger, than you. Bernard Hopkins is a master of this, he caught Calzaghe with it and floored him. The best way to make it non telegraphed is simply not to think about what your next punch is going to be, but to simply go by the distance.

If you are in jab distance then you throw the jab because it's your fastest punch and it's the easiest punch not to telegraph. Simply keep changing your timing on it and it will land.

In Kimbo's first fight I noticed he was throwing untelegraphed punches, which probably explains why he knocked the guy out so fast. The one mistake he made is that his footwork wasn't very defensive and he was squared up, he was wide open for an uppercut.
