I hope he retires. Him and Mr. Peterson are very delusional. How the hell do you get hit with the same shot over and over, the exact same shot that knocked you out cold last time? Then say it's nothing you could do about it?

Mr. Peterson I'm sure has does wonder for this kid OUTSIDE the ring and Paul probably looks at him as a father figure. BUT there is absolutely no reason for either one of them to think they won that fight against Lara.

Paul saying he deserved to win when being interviewed after fight, even when it was caught clearly on camera that he agreed with Peterson that he need a KO to win coming into the 12th round was ****ing ridiculous. :patsch

exactly! then to say "oh it was just for motivation". No it was because you were getting your ass kicked.

All it would take is a honest trainer to teach him some defense. But Paul and Mr. Peterson are living in a fantasy land.

Said he was sloppy and overrated after seeing his fight with Mitchell. Never understood why fans were so high on that goofy uncoordinated giraffe.

i was a fan because I liked his fight style. he wasnt scared of margarito when everyone else was timid about facing him. and when he did fight margarito he won.

but now i see he has taken too many flushed punches and has become delusional. he should focus on his real estate business.

He was exciting, never stopped throwing, tough style and physical advantages to come up against, beat a prime Margo in an exciting fight, two divisions up gave Martinez an exciting close fight the first time and got credited with the W. And he did this despite looking uncordinated and sloppy like you said. Just because he got knocked out and looks past it now doesn't mean he was always an overrated bum. It's his trainers fault for not trying to improve him in the areas he needed work in. If he had the right trainer he could've been so much more.

If Williams thinks he can contend with the best in the division with the same style he's always had, he is clearly delusional. He can't intimidate anyone anymore. The only way he can be a top fighter again is to get another trainer that can teach him how to utilize his natural gifts to their fullest capabilities.

Williams is done and his Fragile Glass Mandible has been exposed. Anybody with a good left, even feather fisted hype jobs like Lara, can hit him and hurt him and the ones with any sort of pop are going to shatter that china.
