i personally think calzaghe would make him look silly, and i think ward will do the same.

way too easy to hit and he starts so slowly all the time, i give him credit for his guts and chin but i dont think he is anywhere near calzaghes league.

i think ward will wipe the floor with him!

Calzaghe would have been all wrong for him IMO. Too much speed, too much punch output, too many angles, too good a combination puncher, very solid chin.

Calzaghe decision. Impossible for Froch to win.

Calzaghe by a wide UD. He makes Froch look stupid.

Calzaghe would beat Froch the same way as he did with Kessler, just more convincing! Kessler and Froch are on about same level when it comes to power and heart, but a prime Kessler is a far better technical fighter. No doubt Froch wouldn`t quit trying, but he would get outpointed sky high against Calzaghe!

Calzaghe would have won, but I still can't help but feel disappointed that they never got it on. After Calzaghe's farce of a fight with Roy Jones, it would have been a massive event here in the UK. Ah well, Cazlaghe's loss, I guess. Because Froch's gone on to do good things since then, and has already gained more respect from the fans (especially in the US) than Calzaghe did his whole career.

Calzaghe would have schooled Froch as bad as Ward is going to school Froch. I like Froch a lot, but he's on a lower-level.

yeah the jones fight was a joke.

i think had froch beaten kessler calzaghe would be under pressure to make a comeback, basically proves calzaghe right because he neat kessler quite comfortably while he was unbeaten!

got to say though im not sure he beat hopkins.

Calzaghe is a case of extreme talent and ability but wasted talent and ability.
    Calzaghe UD Froch.

I disagree that calzaghe froch would have been a massive event in the uk, it wouldn't have been as big as Jones-calzaghe,
Froch just isnt well known, his fights arent on TV here, and a calzaghe froch fight would have happened before he had faced pascal, taylor dirrell etc.
It would have been when his best wins were reid and rybacki.
So it wouldn't have been anywhere near british smw fights like benn eubank as they were well known to the british public, Froch still isnt even after his recent success.

Which is kind of funny because doesn't Tony Bellew have a bit of a following out there?

Only a hometown following. He got a bit more coverage when he was meant to be fighting Cleverley but aside from that, you wouldn't have heard of him if you weren't either well into your boxing or from Liverpool.
