He got KTFO? When did this take place? I remember him being hit to the temple, taking it, being very hurt, getting hit again, but still managing, and then....Fight is stopped. He could of made it at out of the round. I will say that even when he did make it out of that round, the next round woudln't have went well for him either.
He doesn't have that bad of a chin. He took a hell of a lot of Rubio's punches, but his stamina isn't so good, and he shouldn't swing for the fences everytime. He's a promising young fighter, who was very exciting...Even in his loss. Cut the kid some slack, even if you hate canadians.
Training with Sergio as well i'm interested in seeing how much better it makes him.

I think Lemieux should be fighting at 154 but something tells me he doesn't have the work ethic or something to make it that far down in weight.

He wasn't even knocked out, his trainer thew the towel. The guy is still very young, 22 I think and 21 the night of his last fight.

If he is willing to learn he can go far.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. David is just another Canadian hype job. They have lots of them. Middleweight is WEAK right now, and he's still not top tier. Says a lot. Rubio schooled him handily.

Needs a new trainer and certainly a new manager.Someone more experienced to guide him through the sharks.Currently he has neither and getting beaten by a B type of fighter is bad news.

Yeah, like the other 20 canadian hype jobs like Bute (romanian) and Pascal (ex world champ who won against Dawson and had a draw against Hopkins and is taking everybody out there) and.... Mmmm can you name somebody else ?

Canadians have to admit they were over hyping him abit and you can't make any excuses because losing in a close or competitive war to an elite like Maravilla or Golovkin is one thing, but losing by decision, stoppage, or ko to a 2nd tier fighter thats different. I actually like watching David fight, but its obvious he was very overconfident. Its great that hes training with Sergio it doesnt get better than that, but he needs to learn how to handle good pressure fighters or brawlers especially some that can hit like Rubio because Lemieux was too reliant on his power. Its like he didnt have a plan B you cant fight everyone the same.
