Pacquiao confirms: “I will fight Mayweather in 2012”

    ...Pacquiao kept it short and sweet (via Digital Journal):
    “I will fight Mayweather next year.”

    and then,

    ...Mayweather, according to recent statements by Top Rank boss Bob Arum, has officially agreed to split the purse and all other financial intake from the superfight straight down the middle.

    so, if Mayweather still demands the same day testing for Pacquiao, Pacquiao can be tested right after the fight (which will be taking place on the day of the fight). Besides, it only takes about an hour for a whole 12 round of boxing.

    I'm just hoping that both of them will do well on their upcoming (tune-up) fights...

    Testing will have to be done on Mayweathers terms (OSDT ALL the way up to the fight not after) and lets be honest with all the reports about Mannys financial problems I think he accepts them!

    When this info hits cnn, yahoo, espn, tsn, sportsnet, fightnews, and maybe if President Obama says it's a go, then I will believe it, but until then, I will not be a sucker for senseless hype!

    just hope that floyd will not take another vacation and discontinue fighting GBP in-house fights.

    What will be Mayweather's response on the post-fight interview if he wins against Ortiz.. ...same goes for Pacquiao on November.

    Hey lets hope team Pac DOES NOT AGREE TO THE TESTS (OR TELL EVERYONE THEY HAVE AGREED TO THE TESTS WHEN THEY HAVEN'T REALLY AGREED TO ANY TESTS(See Roach video-Dec/09).

    Team Pacquiao always changed their story with these tests, and it wouldnt surprise me if they tried to come out with some 2 day cutoff type sh!t..BOTTOM LINE IS THEY AGREED TO TAKE EM RECENTLY AND THEY NEED TO STICK WITH IT.

    Then he'll continue fighting guys coming off losses or draws in their last big fight.

    Floyd gonna say the same thing he said after the Shane fight...If he take the tests up until "the day of" then they gotta fight..

    Do you not see that team Mayweather has not changed their story one time..............

    Thats not true...They came to a "middle ground" in mediation with a 14 day offer as you are "supposed to come to some sort of middle ground in a mediation,"..other than that Team Mayweather has had the same story SINCE DAY 1.

    Team Pac has consistently changed their story.:-(

    I just hope Floyd doesn't come up with a new demand. Now he knows that Pac will be willing to take this OSDT.

    Pac will soon be broke because of his gambling addiction and over generosity but i dont think he is broke right now. He will take the tests because he wants the fight to be made and of course the money is too high to refuse!
