    He's fought some fairly well known fighter too- Amir Khan, Paul McCloskey, Ashley Theoplane, Michael Gomez, Kevin Mitchell, John Murray, Ricky Burns, Gavin Rees, Anthony Corrolla.

    God loves a tryer (113 losses now).

    Here is a recent interview with my opponent

    Prospect Boxing : Introducing Daniel MiCallef


    Paul Grahams Prospect Boxing are pleased to announce the signing of Scots based Maltese boxer Daniel MiCallef. Micallef currently has 2-0 record and makes his Prospect boxing debut there 10th of September show at Ayr Town Hall.


    Fighting on a packed card MiCallef takes on the unbeaten Chris Steel over 6 x2's. Coming into the fight Micallef has had an impressive start to his career notching up two wins on the bounce,with the most recent a points shutout over Ritchie Abu.


    Micallef is looking forward to his scottish debut and reveals his preparation “I have been working hard in the gym for this. I am looking forward to showing the fight fans what I have to offer”


    He further adds about his style “The style I have is Slip and Weaves; this will cause Steel problems on September 10th. This mixed in with my determination to win, the fans will be in for a treat! I am going to give 200% ”


    Micallef,who goes by the nickname of “The Commander” reveals he knows a bit about his “Steel is quite tall and is fast for a welterweight. But on the night the best man will win”

    I'll be going to the fights at Paisley Town Hall on September 3rd, but if I can convince someone to venture into deepest, darkest Ayrshire with me I might well give this a go.
