That was a windmilled arm punch like everything Maidana throws and it was coming from a guy that was huffing and puffing like a three pack a day smoker. The guy's power is overrated and that much is clear from the fact that he didn't decapitate Khan or even manage to stop shot Morales. It's not the legs, kiddo, it's the Chin, ie the Mandibular Fortitude. Some have it, others don't, and Khan belongs to the latter group. Glass Jaws Exist In Boxing. It's irrefutable.:roflatsch:deal
Danny Jacobs has one of the most abysmal Glass Jaws I've ever seen and I was off that opinion before he got one-punched by Pirog. Solid Chins do not go out like cheap lightbulbs the second they're touched and that's exactly what happened. The guy has no Chin, none.:deal
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Sorry, but glass jaws exist, and Jacobs certainly appears to have one. When he gets laid out cold again, I expect some apologies from you deniers.
Do you actually believe this? Cos last I checked Lewis achieved more than McCall. Khan has achieved more than Malignaggi. Jones achieved more than MOST. etc. etc.
Let's not call it a "glass jaw" obviosuly that is too broad. I think the ability to "take a punch" or "how they respond to taking a good shot" is more indicative what of we are talking about. Neck strength, legs, facial structure (bone structure), mental fortitude are some of the traits that will determine who "appears" to have a "glass jaw." I am surprised no one put Wlad up yet. Sure he has been dominating, but when he gets hit hard..he doesn't know what phD he holds or his brother's first name.
I don't even understand what the first paragraph is about. Glass Jaw means you don't take a punch well no matter what the rationalization you come up with for it so all of that other stuff is moot. And secondly, I put Wlad on my list. He has a disgraceful Glass Mandible.
Where is Jorge Linares? He got knocked out by a weak ass punch from Salgado. That was a disgraceful exhibition of a chin
I don't disagree with you, in a post above I explain more about what I consider a "chin" to be and their attributes. It's kinda subjective though eh? I mean RJJ never used defense, he used reflexes. So at 36 he lost all of that and then he gets KO'd like crazy. Is it because he has no chin? Not necessarily. I think it is because he never learned how to block. He gets caught HARD and that would drop anyone..but most people put their hands up! Now after a few KO's I think the "chin" is weaker. Not the chin per say, but the brain and it's functioning. Couple that with age and you have a guy that will clearly go down much easier. Look at what happened to RJJ, Jermaine taylor and other fighters whose neurology changed from traumatic hits to the head. So ya..it's not really a "glass jaw" but many contributing factors. Like I said previously, look at what happens to Wlad when he used to get hit flush....
Ottke stopped Mundine with a shot to the temple. But that may have caused his glass jaw to crack too.
I didn't make the list. Khan has fought only TWO supposed punchers since the embarrassing and brutal Prescott KO. Just two. One guy has since been exposed as not having the savage power Khan fans acted like he did the other was a shot to **** Zab Judah who hasn't won a meaningful fight in years. Khan's whole career has been carefully crafted. Furthermore as I have already explained on here multiple times a one fight result does not mean Khan no longer has a Glass Jaw. I mean did Tommy Morrison not have a Glass Jaw just because he survived against Foreman and didn't get KOed? See how this works? A one fight result doesn't change a damn thing.
you're a mess. You've been repeating the same thing for 3 or 4 years...:tired Your tardness level is at the bottom so stop trying.
Can you imagine how many shards of glass a Khan-Kirkland fight would produce? They'd need a huge dustbin...
Surviving in a fight with a crude puncher like Maidana doesn't change anything. At all. There are hundreds of examples of this. Khan has a Glass Jaw. He has no Chin. None. He could not take a punch as an Amateur and can't take one as a pro either. The fighters he fought after the Prescott fight were an embarrassment. They basically would not let him fight anyone with over a 35% KO rate or so.
