LOL, what in the hell are you talking about . . . hahaha. Seriously what fight are you watching. He clearly hurt oscar there! No matter what way you look at it Oscar knees buckled . . . not only that once he finished that "combination" he stepped back and stopped being so aggressive. He was not only hurt then but he got stunned a couple of times in that round if you watch it again.
Point not taken. It is almost caveman mentality to look up into any Floyd's fights thinking about his punching power comparatively to someone else who was defeated by a future opponent. Ortiz may not be shaken up since JMM was able to survive with only 142 pounds, but he's not in there to overpower anyone, he's in there to outpunch an elusive counter-puncher.
People overemphasis power. Mosely hits hard, Hatton hit pretty hard,De La Hoya hit hard. What good did it do em?
I'd choose Floyd's accuracy over Berto's power though. Berto is much bigger than floyd, has a bigger frame. Makes sense that he has more power.
Floyd accurate as fuk but has no real power behind his punches. He must have hit Gatti with about 100 power shots to the face and still couldnt KO him.
don't be so sure..... Is it with or without that PED that's only legal in Nevada??? :think:think:think
If berto connects, it could be harder, but Floyd hits you when you don't see it, and if you get hit with those, they hurt a lot more
beast's dont quit or get knocked down a number of times against a hbo built hype job, he was chosen for a reason and anyone with since know why ...lol but I guess he's a young lion now that Floyd chose him.......jesus ****ing christ.
Honestly how long has it been since we've seen Floyd plant his feet and throw some HAYMAKERS. I'm extremely curious to see where his power is truly at these days. But then he hit Gatti with every damn punch in the book and couldn't drop him for good so I guess that says enough. I don't know.
