    Adamek will be 220.

I was thinking maybe he'd be bigger also. 220 wouldn't surprise me.

    :huh:huh

    Vitali's not 5'10.

Vitali's last few fights have been at:

    247¼
    251¼
    247

CHEF said that for this fight, Vitali is, right now at least, a little lower in weight, that's why he looks bigger in the pics, he's actually more ripped, not bigger. So I think the 245 estimate may be about right.

If so that's too big for Adamek. Not that it's going to matter much anyway, but Adamek should be training for speed, not bulk. Adamek was 215 for McBride (12 rd UD), and his heaviest ever was 220½ against Estrada (also 12rd UD).

Estrada is not as dangerous as Vitali but he's quicker. IMO 220 would be more appropriate for VK than for Estrada. 215 more likely.

I read some were that they wanted Adamek at 220, and Adamek was real close to that weight before training camp

Yea, they want him to have a little more pop. Speed will be an advantage regardless.

I just don't see the advantage of having Adamek at his heaviest ever against Vitali. Adamek only has one single advantage over Vitali, and that's some speed. Well, the more weight Adamek puts on, the slower he's going to be. Why bridge the gap instead of widening it? Doesn't make sense to me....but maybe that's why I'm not a trainer.

Again, whatever Adamek weighs, it's not going to matter in the end, just my thoughts...

Huh a WTF! How come Adamek gets to have his fight in Poland but David Haye had to go to Gemany to fight against a Klitschko?

    Seriously?

We all know Haye had a chance to deliver and he couldn't.

And really, who cares? The fight is over and done with.
Wlad won, Haye lost. Deal with it.
