Nice story. It will be interesting to see just how heated the argument got on 24/7. To be honest if I had a dad like Floyd Sr., me and him wouldn't get along either.

When your a father that keeps making statements like "he's only at where he is today because of me", eventually the child will start thinking what your meaning is that "without the father the kid would have been nothing." There isn't a person on the planet who wouldn't get sick of hearing that.

I thought the comment about Floyd Sr. is funny considering that Roger is exactly the same way. The Floyds are just too much alike, simple as that.

I do like the way Mayweather is promoting this fight. Whether it's real or just for show, he's coming across as much more likeable than he has in the past.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Wait until Floyd gets in the ring with Pac. If you thought Floyd was bad before the Delahoya fight. I think he will set an all new standard for playing the villain before a big fight. Mark my words. If the fight should ever happen.

so it's true that sr. and jr. had a confrontation? seckbach had it correct and the only part in need of confirming is if sr. actually asked jr, when would he fight pacquiao?

well it could also be a set-up for the HBO team just the previous floyd 24/7s.

Even the greatest haters could at least sympathize with Jr on this. One can't help but see a boy in pain, alienation, and loneliness--often the price to pay with celebrity.

At least Jr could help himself by not acting like a **** sometimes... Hope this is a new start for him, he deserved happiness and all the best that life can bring.

If it did involved Pacquiao, I don't think we're going to see a mention of it on 24-7. We'll probably get to see the confrontation, but Pacquiao's name will be kept out of it.

That irks me about Floyd. He seems like such a nice dude but his "wrestling-style" persona constantly spills over into his everyday. He's dead on about his dad, that guy takes credit for absolutely everything like he's pulling the strings on the fighter who's actually in the ring fighting and timing all the dude's punches for him.
