No doubt in my mind Ortiz has more success than either one of these cats against PBF. I mean if he lands a punch and doesn't get put in a comma it would be better than Gatti, and if he can keep from gettin KO'd he does better than Hatton. Combined they may have won3-4 rounds.

This is a nice quote from Mayweather describing why he fights basically once a year.

He talking accomplishments and careers, we talking actual skills and competition against floyd, and Obviously when we look at that only Ortiz> Gatti/Hatton

Barring a Bojado-type meltdown Ortiz will accomplish more than Hatton and Gatti.

did floyd said anything about it in his racist-rant video? if that is floyd's concern, he should have said it in his video instead of saying that he has "no urge" to fight that time. and who knows what greenburg, arum and haymon have already settled.

    quoting greenburg,

so why again did floyd said he has "no urge" to fight instead of saying that pac has not agreed to be tested? again the only facts here are greenburg saying the fight was closed to being made and he has no idea why floyd suddenly doesn't want to fight in fall. and the second fact is floyd saying he has "no urge" to fight after taking off. we don't exactly know what happened in the negotiations but greenburg saying it was close is a sign that arum and haymon are in good terms with it.

I agree with Money, Ortiz isn't smart or disciplined and that means Floyd likely to take him down without too much problem.

Are you playing devil's advocate here? This is like a college player going against MJ. The difference in skill level and degree of polish is stupefying.

Is this an interview why he cherrypicked Ortiz?

do you really believe this or is it just wishful thinking?

ortiz will look ordinary; i say this not as a '*****' (far from it) but as someone who can see the gulf in class a mile off.
floyd is the smartest guy in the ring (and sometimes out of the ring); he's got plenty of people believing ortiz is a legitimate threat. that's smart.

Yep, It's the skillz, i'am no ***** but this fight is going to make Floyd look really good, he'll dissect Victor with ease, he'll take ring centre around the 3rd/4th & dismantle Ortiz. This will end around 8/10 no later unless Floyds eases up. Ortiz just ai'nt premier league, his onlt chance it to go all out blitz from the 1st bell & hope he gets very very lucky. Also the ref could play a big part in all this, Ortiz needs too assault Floyd for every second of the round & unload in the clinches & breakaway before the ref gets in there to stop the action. he's got to be constant, but Floyds seen it all & hence picking Victor as he knows that this ai'nt no serious risk for sure.

    1) Speed, 2) Angles, 3) Power & 4) Workrate (PACMAN) will **** floyd up & Ortiz ai'nt got all 4 or the ability to employ all 4 at once. This is a miss-match & it'll be a systematic disection after 3/4 rounds.

Yeah, b-b-b-but Ortiz is a young, hungry lion that's coming off the biggest win of his career. That means he's a legit opponent, and when, sorry I mean if :)oops:), Floyd beats him impressively, it must be respected.
