I've chosen Foreman over Tyson because from Tyson I actually have seen a couple of fights in wich he couldn't.
Tyson vs Douglas (obviously) not entirely his fault because it was close to the end of the round, but he couldn't finish the job in round 9.
Tyson vs Ruddock II, and a couple of fights earlier in his career.

Foreman just kept hitting his opponents down, and only had some finishing problems in his 2nd career. Wich any man his age can get :hey

I can't think of anyone foreman hurt but didn't knock out.

Tyson had douglas, holyfield and williams badly hurt but didn't knock them out.

Liston didn't let people off neither but he didn't hit as hard as george imo.

Shavers hit harder than them all but was woeful at delivering and finishing.

Jimmy Young. Plenty in his late career.

Foreman wasn't much of a finisher in his second career tbh.

I picked Tyson, but I have no qualms with anyone who picks Foreman above him.

In this regard I think its a really closely contested affair....I think with Tyson, his knockout reel is just far more memorable than Foremans (when Frazier and Norton spring to mind the most), purely because the sight of much smaller man KTFO of fully fledged heavyweights just sticks in the mind better.

Truth of it is though, Foreman had a freakish KO%, and also, his KO's in 5 rounds or less, is just as immense as Tyson's. When he had someone hurt, it would usually be over

come on now, anything he did in his second career can only help his argument, not hinder it.

:!:you raise a good point but alex stewart, ali, holyfield and lyle have me questioning him a bit. alex stewart was DONE...but foreman let him off and he arguably lost that fight. ali was just sitting there for half the fight, taking punches but foreman did nothing. holyfield was stunned in round 7 but foreman couldn't capitalize. and lyle could have gone in round 1 but foreman was so busy swinging and missing he never thought to actually connect on lyle. instead it dragged out and he suffered knockdowns due to his sloppiness. he was very, very good but wasted too much energy and wasn't nearly as accurate (i feel) as liston who KNEW how to put a man down
