Official ratings at a specific moment can be very misleading. Better to look over a longer period of time.

Well I'm more on the level now of, "well if he was willing to take it now then why the fuk wasn't he wililng to take it then"

To me, he coulda taken it the entire time, just like he is willing to now, and we could have been on a rematch by now!

do you think brigss was ever regarded as the best hw?

also, consider that robberies have to be taken into account otherwise, what is the worth?

    :lol::lol:

Clottey doesn't throw punches and didn't deserve a title shot, but whatever legit win same as Cotto.

Margarito was at Jr. Middleweight. Oscar looked like a crackhead zombie, and well Mosley got lit up by Mayweather and drew with Sergio Mora(who lost to Brian Vera following the fight).

So tell me how does that mean he has a more established record at Welterweight than Mayweather?

why didn't clottey deserve a shot? how did you score the clottey-cotto fight?

margo was a lmw fight but history will remember it as a fight above the ww limit with some bull**** trinket thrown in.

mosley was just clearing up wasn't it. **** opponent but considering the division there wasn't much better out there apart from berto.

the answer to your question is probably in a post already in the thread. but basically oscar+cotto+clottey+margo+mosley > mitchell+judah+bald+hatton+jmm+mosley.

not by much though, floyd evens it up with a win over ortiz.

No, Briggs was not the best HW but he was the Man. And I don't consider the Briggs Foreman fight to have been a robbery. Close fight? Yes. Robbery? No.

You want an example of a robbery? Go see Lewis Holyfield I.

Now that was a robbery - in broad daylight.

So in this case the lineage wasn't as important because the holder of the belt wasn't the top dog.

It was a robbery, which 7 rounds do you believe the cannon won?

    Agreed lewis-holy 1 was a robbery.

besides cotto, the definitive ww fights pac did are stale, might not count from a history perspective, but his recent fights feel like losses.

question is will jmm fight be like cotto or will it be another waste of time mosley. margarito a cheat but that fight did progress decent.

jmm is too different from margarito and has potential to expose regardlesss... cant wait till these guys start training for this fight no matter wat its outcome is
