now its easy to say 5 was bad...but watching it when it was brand new in the cinema...i remember everyone shadow boxing while they left the cinema, NO1 EXPECTED A STREETFIGHT at the end! & the go4it song gets you hyper. all the Rockys were great & im glad sly stallone got a place in the boxing hall of fame, cus rocky done alot for boxing.
V was Tyson era and Great White Hope Searching era. VI was Tarver/Jones/Hopkins era. I, II were Ali/Frazier/Duran era, III was Hearns/Leonard/Hagler era, and IV was European PED Emergence era and Eastern European Amateur Dominance Prediction era.

The first was far and away the best. Not even remotely competitive. It was the only one that was actually a good movie. Except for the 6th, that is. Yeah, I'm being serious. That was easily the best movie of the lot outside of the first. The 4th had the best fight scene, though.
