Lets take a look at history:

Mosley peaked in 2000. Since then he has rapidly declined or at best hasn't really done anything stellar bur beat Margarito.

vsClottey...If he lost, it woulda been ClotteyvsCotto, then PacvsCotto..no matter what Arum was going to feed Cotto/Clottey to Pacman. Now Arum puts Cotto at 154 to polish him a bit, so when its time for Pacquiao to get hes 9th title, Cotto is there to be eaten..

    for the op

Cotto has a very deep resume overall

Bailey, Corley Torres, Quintana, Margarito, Foreman, Malinaggi all beltholders

Judah and Mosley and Mayorga undisputed champs

Pinto and Abdalaev were good amatuers

    he has a deep resume

Best win is Mosley or Judah those wins gave him the most clout and proved he was at the top of the welter picture

Branco was a capalbe former title challenger

It's post like this that just ****s it up for even less knowledgable posters.:patsch

Both gus were top contenders in the division Floyd was in. Margarito had more wins over Ring ranked oppponents then anyone else at the time.

DO some research, or better yet, ASK rather then making assumptions on fighters you know little about.

Very nice. Too many idiots on this site think all elite fighters only fought elite guys their whole careers. Oversimplified idiots...

That's a decent resume, it's nothing great, a bit above average, is all.

More than a bit. There aren't that many fighters today who'd beat Cotto at 147 or 154. Plus, he has a heart of pure iron that only the most furious fires can bend.
