Jermain Taylor - I miss this guy

some time ago Taylor (as a young upcommer) beat old veteran in Hopkins ...
now after 5 years Taylor retires and Hopkins still fight the best LHW .... WTF?

 

Like most, you grossly over rate Martinez. The kid that beat Hopkins would embarrass Martinez. Had JT stayed with Burns he would not have lost to Pavlik. He's back with Burns, and has a VERY good chance of becoming better than ever.

 

One of the only Americans someone could appreciate. (Cunningham is another good example) I wish him the best. :good

 

I'm a big Taylor, and for that reason I wish he'd stay retired. He's never going to get back to the level he was in terms of stature or money, and he's now been annihilated on three separate occasions.

When your promoter drops you due to health reasons, that's pretty bad. I hope he has invested his money and is able to enjoy life with his family.
