Bunce changed his tune pretty quickly after Haye was scheduled to fight for the WBA Title and especially after he won by MD. Haye was the man in his eyes after he MD'd Valuev.

Bunce picked Chagaev to impressively defeat Valuev by the way before the rematch was canceled. So, Wlad dominated and defeated Chagaev who in his eyes was the better fighter than Valuev! Haye barely squeaked by Valuev who according to Bunce had a belt from a 'comical' 'spoof" 'disgrace' organization.

I am no fan of the guy but somehow I have been watching a lot of him on youtube. He has this "cannot look away" trainwreck sort of factor.

    Haye would've beaten Chagaev aswell.

It's all irrelevant really - we all know that the Klits are numbers one and two and thats it.

Oh and "Haye was the man...", a few days before the fight on his podcast he "gave Haye a chance but he is up against it." Pretty fair comment I think.

Throwing 3 punches a round might not of been enough against Chagaev. When you have no chin like Haye you got to keep that protected at all times and be extra careful not to get hit.

It would've gone much the same way as Ruiz. Come on "White Tyson" struggled with Kali Meehan!!

The problem with Haye is that he has never had one impressive performace against a top HW. FFS he has fought Monte Barrett, Audley Harrison, a dug up John Ruiz from the grave and Valuev ( who lost to Holyfield who was 57) at HW before Klitschko.

His last three fights Valuev, Audley and Klitschko have been absolutely atrocious. David would not let his hands go! Horrible dreadful fights, straight up IMHO David Haye is afraid to get hit by a HW.

Even when Chagaev beat Valuev he wasnt that good, but he had deteroiated further by the Haye fight and hasnt fought since the Haye fight.

Chagaev fought Valuev in 2007. By the time Haye fought Valuev I think he was already on the decline having all sorts of joint, shoulder, other physical problems. As seen when Valuev probably should of lost to Holyfield who had been completely shot for about 10 years when they fought and should of absolutely not presented a promblem for a World level fighter.

Point one: His last three fights were Ruiz, Audley and Klit. 2 KO's and multiple KD's - how does this equate to him not letting his hands go. Include Valuev? The guy had NEVER been hurt in his 50ish fight career - Haye hurt him.

Point two: "Hit and don't get hit"

My main point is that if Haye/Chageav fought next Haye wins via KO. Its irrelevant if you think he's "scared to be hit". Thats his style - relatively low punch output, high % of power shots. Thats how he has always fought.

Thanks for the correction. Aint that special John Ruiz. I have totally changed my thoughts on David.

I can see when somone is afraid to get hit, always safety first on the defensive, not letting their hands go. I see the same thing in Vladimir. But Haye is loud mouth **** who claims he is going to completely destroy oponents, but then gets in the ring and fights extra cautious. Klitschko dont make those big claims.

BTW Monte Barrett wobbled Valuev in the first round pretty bad. Check it out. Valuev was all over the place. Valuev has been hurt.

Good. Well he did KO his mandatory.

What like Pep, Mayweather etc. :patsch

Oh yeah Haye actually did smash him all over though. In his 1st HW fight.

Haye KOs Chageav (literally did nothing against Wlad but get KO'd), Arreola (how is this guy even a contender?) and Adamek (Polish powderpuff puncher) with ease. All guys who aren't afraid of getting hit?
