Antonio Tarver Interview. Possible Green rematch in Perth next fight.

lets hope this time he doesnt try and box him off the back foot. i reckon his only chance is head on chest and brawl him...it may be ugly but he cannot beat tarver by boxing him. not sure greeny handles southpaws that great, but i would love to see him do better in a rematch

 

Tarver v Green in the USA wouldn't draw flies I'm afraid.

 

I wonder if he is going to have a tune up fight before Tarver.

If the fight is going to happen before the end of the year, I'd imagine not.

 

Danny dont need no tune up fight, he does hundreds of rounds of sparring! just ask him he will tell anyone that will listen! lol

 

He will be just doing it for the cash. He will cop another easy defeat to line his pockets. Good luck to the bloke but he gets no credit from me for this.

 

The rematch hasnt happen yet, wait until he does what he says Stifler before giving him credit. HE said he would win as many titles as he could when he come out of retirment, he only won the IBO strap and didnt even try win anymore titles, he avoided Cunningham and Huck and watching the Tarver fight you can see why, Dannys not a CW.

The only props the karnt should get is if he goes back down to LHW and does it right. He will only embarase himself further with this circus act, he can not defeat Tarver for atleast another 5-10 yrs, Tarvers not as shot as they thought he was! lol Power wise Danny gets thrown around like a Rag Doll against a true CW in Tarver.

Danny will have to pay more money this time to get Tarver here, from reports he only made 1 million on the show, that is what Mundine made on his debut fight lol , in other words he isnt making as much as he normally does due to overheads, it will be big fight but big risk for little reward in his eyes, take in mind he isnt fighting for titles he is fighting for Money, he cant Milk the public anymore unless he takes care of Tarver. IMHO he wont rematch him and this is just all bullsht so he can contuine to Milk the public fighting duds. Tarver will loose the title or something will break down in negotiations that will cause this fight not to occur, we have seen it in the past with Tarver v Green, the ONLY reason this fight was matched is because Green and his people thought Tarver was shot.

Tarver will never let a fighter like Danny Green defeat him. Dannys best bet is to head down to the tafe and do some study so he can find himself a real job, the gig is over! Elvis has left the building!

No one will buy this fight over there, green will say tarver ducked the rematch......fill in the rest.

 

Haha, yeah he does. Well I can't see his standard 120-140 rounds of sparring is going to help him unless he's sparring a duplicate of Antonio Tarver.

You have to give him props if he does take the fight with Tarver and on his home turf, but the likelihood of him winning and the likelihood of it being a huge financial success in the US is quite small.

Stifler, Danny has it in USA then he dont promote it, thus no expenses. Not just that but he gets to showcase himself to a USA Audience, and if he is confident and still wants Hopkins, then its the obvise thing to do. I still think its a publicity Stunt and he has no intentions what so ever of fighting Tarver again.

Kinda like when he backflipped and said we all have a soft part in our skull!, i bet since that day all the Danny Green fans have been walking around with Crash Helmets on!~ hahaha

As much as I've questioned Danny's choice of opponent or what not in the past, I think it's fair to say TC, D.Green is a lot tougher than you would ever dream of being...
