Pascal - Cloud: Close to a deal !!

I think Cloud's highest paying fight was $150k(and he doesn't have a defined fanbase)....pretty far south of what Hopkins likes to be paired with.

That said, I'm a big Cloud fan so I hope he beats Pascal(who I also like) and develops into a name that Hopkins would want to fight later on(if he's still around).

 

Did you even watch the fight? Dawson won the last couple of rounds but he didn't put anything together that Pascal couldn't get away from (his best work was an 8 punch combo against the ropes but Pascal got out of there). He later stunned Pascal with a counter uppercut, but didn't really press the action when it happened. When the headbutt happened Pascal was throwing a punch at Dawson when Dawson was coming in, Pascal was NOT hurt at all when the headbutt happened.

Blue_87 already covered the RJJ fight. It was ugly as hell but Hopkins won that fight WIDE.

BHOP hasn't called out Cloud because Cloud isn't a big earner. His highest payday is 150k and he doesn't have a defined fanbase and really hasn't had longterm visibility. The fight wouldn't make sense at this point for someone who makes over a million per fight.

 

You're right. Hopkins wants money. Cloud brings nothing to the table. Pascal did.
