Lucian Bute vs Glen Johnson - Poll

Bute WILL NOT stop Glen Johnson. In fact, Bute has a much greater shot at getting stopped himself than stopping Glen.

20% chance of a Bute KO/TKO
15% chance of a Johnson KO/TKO
5% chance of a Johnson UD/SD or draw

Glen is a tougher opponent, both physically and mentally, than anyone Bute's faced so far.

I don't think Bute's performance vs Johnson will crush Froch's, if anything it's just a night to see what Lucian's chin is like. R12 vs Andrade I is NOT a chin indicator in Bute's case, he's taken a couple of solid uppercuts vs Berrio and even some hard shots from Miranda, but I want to see an overhand gorilla right club land on the man's face, I really do. And I'm a fan of his, big time.

 

I'll be rooting for Johnson. But Bute should win a hard fought fight. Johnson's tenacity and grinding will keep him at least respectable.

Bute won't Ko Johnson that's for sure. If Johnson picks up his work rate he may pull this off.

 

I want Johnson to win, but know Bute will get the W.

Bute will win. People think Johnson will give him a tough fight. I don't think so. It may be close for 3 or 4 rounds but not more. This fight won't go the distance.

 

I doubt Bute will be able to stop Johnson, even though he has the best uppercut/body punching in the game.

Johnson's never really been stopped. Even the Hopkins fight, he wasn't even close to going out or down, it was an accumulation stoppage.

Johnson will walk right into the left uppercut. Bute by 4th round KO.

 

Bute will outbox Johnson, possibly even knock him out!!!

 

I expect a UD but Bute might actually stop Glen.
