Arum pay Gamboa for his IBF belt so garcia didn't have to face him, we all know what happened, and when he fought Solis his own ppl say that he was not ready for Gamboa, Garcia is too slow for Gamboa, it will b a shooting practice, beside garcia is going to b the next cash cow for Arum, he will never make that fight, maybe 5 or 6 years down the line, if Gamboa is not the same. Stop dreaming, YG is the best FW in the World, hands down and by a large margin.

There are no accidents in boxing, if someone can properly time him with a left hook Gamboa can he hurt. But many people still live in 2009, Yuri improved bigtime since then, takes more calculated risks. But his defense is never gonna be perfect because he always was an aggressive speedster which style is about take me out or I'll take you out. Ponce De Leon is a dangerous opponent because he has the power and unpredictability to do it himself, and handled Broner's speed and punch quite well, but I don't think he's the one to do it.

I'm more concerned about the rabbit punching habbit Gamboa took on lately. He needs to get rid of it completely or he'll lose a fan.

 

I agree with this, Lopez would get ironed out big time if he faced Gamboa. Lopez is chinny in a big way in my opinion. He's had huge hype behind him building his profile and been well matched at the right time. They can make excuses for his Salido loss, but put simply, Salido walked him down, plain and simple.

I do however disagree with the no one at 126lbs can run with Gamboa. I do think Mikey Garcia is a-grade in waiting and would be a great fight with Gamboa should he keep developing and they meet in the future. Donaire if they meet in the future would also be a great fight and I'd probably favour Donaire, but right now, weight's going to keep them well apart for the near future.

Apart from that, the afore mentioned post is 100% right and there is no one at 126lbs that can touch Gamboa, absolutely no one!

everything those 2 "bad asses" need to do is step up their competition and come after Gamboa...he has been waiting and looking for contenders.But Nonito is fighting little midgets and Garcia's hiding under his brother's skirt.
