It will probably end up at 152, cotto's team is basically trying to force margarito in that position since he doesnt have much negotiation power. It means he is isnt 100% confident in beating him at 154

I'm with Margo on this one. Cotto's a champion at 154 with a successful title defense with no catchweight so this is inexcusable.

This really does show that he's concerned about what Margarito brings to the table, plaster or not.

 

Nah, I think he's just worried Margarito is the much bigger man, since Cotto himself isn't that big of a Jr. Middleweight. I'd MUCH prefer there were no catch-weight, but it has a small slice of legitimacy. Regardless, he will have the right game-plan with Steward and tweak what they need to in order to get the victory.

 

It only gives Margarito a psychological advantage over Cotto, knowing that his opponent fears him, and it shows Cotto isn't confident to fight the lanky, tough, rugged, man of steel named Margarito.
