yeah oki then in that case I wouldnt lable it a duck, but its still a fight I would have like to see. Same with forrest which I dont lable a duck either.
With that said, hbo and showtime should work together more often to get good fights done:p

Also Arum NEVER made an offer to Mayweather. He wanted Cotto to fight Gomez instead.

He could have fought Floyd instead of Judah or Mosley as well, but for some reason, these fights never happened.

Let me guess.....that was Floyd's fault too???

Tszyu could have fought Floyd instead of Hatton, but it did not happen.

I also find it funny that NO ONE has ever been accused on here of ducking Floyd, an undefeated, ATG, future Hall of Famer with a very difficult style.

All fighters, according to people on here, have been so eager to fight this man, and have shown NO FEAR of him.

But most on here say he is afraid of EVERYONE.

    See here's the problem *****s.

Very few people here thought Cotto or Margarito could've beaten FMJ. (TBH, Clottey would've been more problematic than these two, but whatever)

Could they have pose a problem for FMJ? You bet.
Would May have won over them still? I'm about 90% confident that he would've.
Did FMJ duck a fight with them when they were on their absolute prime for some reason or another, be it scared shitless of losing that 0 or low marketability or just plain ignorance? YES. HELL YES.

And BOT, that video is so inconclusive, I pray that none of you ever practice law or even engage in street debates.
    It's embarassing.

Where was this? I've been following dude's career closely since 03/04 and never once have I heard him dismiss a Mayweather fight.

I do recall, however, reading an article where Roger Mayweather said he felt Cotto would be a bigger challenge than Kostya Tsyzu. But Floyd said he was "too green."

When did Mayweather duck Tszyu? He was tied up with his IBF obligation against MItchell, committed to fight Hatton or inactive the entire time that Floyd was at 140.

Floyd should have worked his magical healing powers so Tszyu could recover and then fight him. :thumbsup

Margarito...was/is a nobody/cheater. He was hype then, why he refuses to be hype now, I dunno. And Mayweather fought "Old Man Mosley" when he destroyed...you guessed it...Marg.

Cotto was on ringside when Floyd destroyed Gatti.

Floyd didnt duck Cotto, They were both under Arum. Arum wanted to polish and protect Cotto.

If we ignore the network issue, they could have conceivably fought sometime in 2004 when Tszyu's injuries had healed, but NOBODY was clamoring for that fight. Tszyu fought Mitchell to retain his IBF title, which was the only one that wasn't stripped from him when he was injured, then all the talk was about the Hatton. It's ridiculous for people to show up years later and start claiming that Mayweather was ducking Tszyu when you consider everything that was going on back then.
