There are non-technical movers as well. They just get KTFO-ed more often than non-technical pressure fighters so you don't see them as much.

Depends on the fighters. There are all kinds of technical pressure fighters, and on the flip side there are all kinds of out-boxers or so-called "slicksters" who don't abide by the rules of the textbook at all.

Inside/pressure fighting lacks a lot of credit as a complex and technical process, that's for sure.

Inside fighting is more subtle and harder to see, movers are out in the open making their technique more pronounced and easier to see...

Good observation, and very true. JCC, imho, was about as technically skilled as they come but you don't hear that side of his game hyped all that much. You could say the same for Duran.

You'll see with some fans of every sport and in many areas in life. Some people just have a good eye for certain things, whether it be art, athletic talent, interior design, architecture, landscaping, etc. Others just don't know what to look for.

For example, I've seen too many, and heard too many people say Chavez was a face-first brawler when he was anything but. I've also seen people calling Devon Alexander and Amir Khan slick, technical fighters recently. It's kind of ridiculous how people can overlook punch placement, timing, combination punching (not flurrying or aimlessly throwing bunches of punches, but proper combination punching), defense while coming forward, feinting while coming forward, and using small punches to set-up and land bigger/more effective ones. It's like they have this idea that moving away from a fighter throwing basic 1-2's is what boxing is all about and is somehow the "ideal" style that everybody should emulate - ignoring the fact that smaller fighters and less athletically-gifted fighters many times benefit more from fighting a pressuring style.

I love this thread and it deserves to be bumped pretty much every day until people recognize the truth. Keep preaching brothers.
