Jose Sulaiman also canoodles up to fighters. I just think it looks unprofessional and makes them look like fans with stars in their eyes. Just my opinion though.

Ben, you girls all stick together, since when have you said a bad word about Phil Austin? even after he OK's the fight with brain injured Paul Briggs. Carry over points from when he fought blah blah ago, WTF is that Garbage all about. A bloke with 2 bobs worth of common sence knows Austin is a fckn toss bag.

Austin should not be seen getting all smug with the fighters in a world title fight, he is an offical and should remain neutral at all times. Time and Time again he has displayed his lack of ability in doing so, he is one of the most corrupt officals ive ever come across.

He setup the fight with Dannys IBO CW title bout, basicly gave Danny a title for free and without even earning it.

He then sets up another one in Will Tomilson, rated #35 by the IBO and is getting a crack at the title? WTF how do they justify this or their ratings when they have blantalty ignored 34 other fighters rated ABOVE Tomilson.

You asshats used to give the WBF Hell yet you suck right up Austins ass and the IBO is no better than the WBF.

I can't think of any other sport where officials are cuddling up to competitors in the lead up to an event. Very strange behaviour from an official of a sport.

How much are the IBO's sanctioning fees for a world title bout ? How much do you need to pay to become one of their world champions ?

The sad part is that the IBO officials themselves are willing to justify ludicrous decisions such as Briggs fighting for their title or Dominguez fighting Green for their 200 lb title at a catchweight. It's just so wrong.

If they can't get their top couple of contenders to fight for their title then why not leave the title vacant until a legit match can be made. Don't just settle for a guy ranked 47 fighting for the title.

Boxing is in a terrible state.

Sanctioning bodies like the ibo would get the usual cut of normally just over 5 percent of the bouts total purse but this is of course negotiable when fights have huge revenues. It was in the ibos best interest to get Green the title against any bum necessary as the Roy Jones bout was going to be an easy money spinner for all partys involved. Dominguez was just a pawn to get a bogus belt around Greens waist.

You need to get out a bit more and spend some time around professional sports.

Officials having a photo taken with a competitor is nothing unusual. Tennis, Golf, F1, footy, etc. ... the list goes on.

Let's talk boxing. Is the IBO the only org that permits catchweights for its titles?

short version is they are whores, selling themselfs to the highest bidder, they care not about whats right or wrong or any computerized ratings, its all a bunch of horse sht! they sell what they call a world title which is barely recognised as a world title in the boxing world, one USA commentator didnt even know WTF the IBO was

I dont think any other organisation has justifyed such a blantant matchup as Briggs v Green, they were very complacant and accomidating to their champion Danny Green. The critics were vindicated that night when we all witnessed one of the biggest black eyes in the history of Australian boxing, all at the hands of the IBO and Green Machine promotions. Phil Austin tried to justify this fight and only proved what a total idiot and a liar he is, he will fabricate any story to suit his own agenda.

The requirements to challenge for the IBO title are:

A.) against any opponent from the IBO list of (35) highest ranked opponents, or,

    a. the challenger must not have lost his last fight.
    b. the challenger must not have lost any two of his last four fights by knockout.

Siacas last fight before Danny was at 160LB Middleweight.

    Super middleweight 168LB
    Light heavyweight 175LB
    Cruiserweight 200LB

But lets forget about that and focus on the IBO rules, they yet again broke their own rules with the Siaca fight, Siaca during his last 6 fights had lost to Kessler and Branco so he does not qualify and would not have been rated in the IBO ratings as he never fought at CW before.

IBO are sell outs, they sell their title to the highest bidder and allow this person to hand pick opponents left right and center. Ratings do not mean a thing, Briggs and Siaca bouts both prove this. Its a garbage title wanted by just about no karnt in the real boxing world. Danny got it because its his licence to print money and fck you all over, i feel sorry for any karnt that paid for the Siaca or Briggs fight cause you gots ROBBED BCHES! lol :yep

Green fans are that dumb that Danny fcks them over with Siaca and they come back for more in the Briggs fight, you couldnt write this better on a movie script! its GOLD!:rofl
