Floyd wanted the fight when they was both light welterweights, but cotto didn't want that fight at the time. once cotto moved up in weight though. floyd didn't show the urgency to fight cotto like he did when they was at light welter.
cotto ducked mayweather, without even any shame. he always knew this fight be an embarrassing note on his career. he knows he for sure lose, therefore was not only uninterested but also had no urgency or even availability for a fight between them two to even be conceived.
Cotto never said anything about fighting Floyd... Sergio wants a payday, which is understandable, but he shouldn't act like it's a given that Manny or Floyd have to fight him, when he fights at middleweight.
Cotto lack of interest in the fight made it easy for mayweather not to acknowledge him, whether cotto still didn't think he was ready only he knows the answer to that. Would like to hear what he has to say about why he didn't want to fight floyd once his career is over. At least Margo actually wanted the fight, cotto didn't make a sound.
Remeber Cotto's face at the Mayweather Gatti fight? It was like, "Oh ****!" So, yeah, I don't think Cotto had the urgency to fight Mayweather. Plus, Arum has been a roadblock.
The bigger question is why did floyd say he wantesd the winner of martinez vs williams. Martinez calls him out and floyd fights ortiz. Because hes such a nice guy, and never do such a thing? Think.
You know you can be a fan of a boxer, yet not defend everything said boxer does, right? We are all human, we don't always do the right thing, and no-one is perfect...so stop making out that Mayweather is, in turn implying that everything he does is correct, and he is always in the right.
aww poor guy still butt hurt coz he doesn't have the brain cells to write anything witty whats up pacquito you puto?
