    If Margarito beats Cotto again, how much does this win mean to you regarding their first fight and the handwrapping scandal that followed the Mosley fight?

    for me, this fight has no bearing on the first fight. I don't think Margo could have had plaster of paris in his knucklepads if the knucklepads are made from gauze that the NSAC provides in the dressing room. I just think Cotto had the wrong gameplan. I actually felt Cotto would've won a rematch before this whole plaster controversy

    So will you appreciate a Cotto win if he hugs and runs? And no, I'm not saying he is going to do that, but what else can he do? Try and bang with him or should he follow up the plan he had for their 1st with more strategic holding (and let me say I'm not a fan of this "strategic" holding/clinching). I actually think that holding/clinching should be penalized.

    I think Marg beats up Cotto again, but not as bad. We'll see.....It should be anther classic.

    It proves margaritoe always had what it takes to beat Cottoe. antonio is more damaged than Miguel at this point.

    The evidence points to marg being clean in all fights bar mosley if we're being honest.

    This fight says nothing about the first, but if marg wins it looks good on pac imo.

    it has absolutely no bearing on the first fight, but people will try and flip that win toward any perspective they please. some may even say that the first fight softened cotto up to such an extent that it prepared him to get beat down the second fight. the truth is, we'll never know. so many factors have come into play, like cotto losing to pacquiao thoroughly, and emanuel steward being brought into the mix.

    It can never "prove" anything, since we will never truly know what happened or what intentions were behind it in the first fight, but I will be more open to consider the fact Margarito was clean. Right now, I'm leaning towards believing that he did use the illegal wraps, and I'm pretty convinced. But Cotto's improvements right now convince me he's not completely shot (unlike lots of others), and if Margarito wins again, then I do think it will give me (significant) second thoughts about whether he was loaded in the first fight.
