yeah if jones loses at hw, well he's a natural MW so what does it matter?

Loosing to Tyson is better for Jones, than loosing to Tarver.

Loosing to Jones is better for Tyson, than loosing to Williams.

    Everybody wins this fight!

hmm, i dont know, at least with Williams, Tyson has the excuse he was old. I dont think he would be allowed to get away with that against a former mw, whose glass jawed....

    ???????????????

Williams was never more than a commonwealth level fighter.

Loosing to any great former midleweight would have been less damaging!

I would have given him more respect for loosing to Germain Taylor!

losing to a jones (who at this point is probably the 3rd ranked HW considering Lewis is retired, hell a clean win might even see him overtake Byrd) in the form of his life still ranked p4p number 1, 17 years after winning his first title. No shame in that, especially not if it's en route to jones claiming the ultimate prize.

Losing to Williams, so catastrophic everyone labelled him shot immediately at the end of the fight :lol:

Yeah but Williams was a big guy and he could punch. And it still took him 30 odd punches to get Tyson out of there.

Tyson gets grilled for Koing Former LHW SPinks, hed get it even more if he lost to a former MW

We knew Tyson was shot ANYWAY, but losing to a fighter of Williams calibre, really really sealed it

Don't want to be a simpleton, but honestly, change Toney to Moore and throw this quote in the Jones vs Moore thread and maybe people will see the weakness in Moore's ability (Rather than boxing knowledge & IQ) regardless of how great of a LHW & fighter he is renown to be.

Toney is really under rated as a heavyweight.
