I'm disappointed because the rivalry between Hayemaker and Frank's lot was a comedy highlight of every boxing season. Maybe the Dark Lord is back and working in mysterious ways.
This is a move straight out of WWF. Frank will parade George in the ring soon, then him and Degale will jump him and steal his belt.
Nobody can be sure but it was pretty widely known that he was on a considerable contract coming straight out of the Olympics and was on a lot more than any other UK prospects might expect being a novice pro
FWIW I remember ****** saying he couldn't afford to have Degale any more often than he did because of how much he had to pay him. Of course you can take that comment with as much or as little salt as you please....;O)
Great move for both of... ****** is the top promoter in the Uk. And I think you got it wrong with Degale, he'll be pleased because there's a better chance of him getting that re match he so eagerly wants. I like Groves much more than Degale, but for me Degale is the better talent.
DeGale is a talent Sud but I don't see anywhere near enough progression for a 3 year pro. Not fighting often enough and no settled style after this amount of time is worrying.
I agree that his style is a little worrying, just the fact how his fight against Groves he needed to adapt. But I'm sure he has learned from that... And he should definitely be more active. But I disagree about him not making enough progress, I expect him to win his fight for the euro title in style, which would put him in contention for a world title fight/eliminator. That in me eyes is good progress, especially if you compare to the other British prospects that have been around for a few years.
