Folks seem to forget that Bute and Andrade had a rematch. Shall I refresh a few memories?? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFdeRm_qmDs[/ame]
Not necessarily, but when they go looking for credible opponents, I'm sure that a million dollar offer could persuade GGG to move up, come to Montreal and KTFO Bute again.
if mendy and brinkley were "mandatory" then its "mandatory" he throws that belt in the garbage because its pretty worthless if thats what seem as top challengers
$1 million is way too much for a fight like this. And I'm sure Showtime wouldn't approve of a fight like this.
Why not? GGG is an avoided dangerman, the AM-beating Bute took adds some needle and Showtime approved Magee who's worse than GGG. So I'm sure they would.
GGG would not go up to SMW for at least 3-4 years. He's walking at around 161-162 and doesn't have to dehydrate himself much , it's the perfect weight for him Bute can't make 160. Golovkin also had/has problems with his promoter.
You are quoting an Interbox pressrelease. The rankings looked like this: 1 Jean Paul Mendy France 2 Jesse Brinkley United States 3 Andre Dirrell United States 4 Librado Andrade United States 5 Curtis Stevens United States 6 Arthur Abraham Germany 7 Sakio Bika Australia 8 Les Sherrington Australia 9 Carl Froch United Kingdom 10 Brian Magee England http://www.ibf-usba-boxing.com/
Bika vs brinkley was suppose to give a mandatory ..... For i don"t know what reason 1 or the other pulled out. It was to late to make another fight, so they choose one of them.(ibf)
