The IBF post the list at he end of the month. I have looked at the list back then when the list had #1 NOT RATED. So if you didn't looked at that list in the middle of the month before it chanced , don't try to be a smart-ass about it.

Brinkley has become mandatory when he was Ranked #2 by the IBF and the #1 was NOT RATED , Before the Mandatory fight took place, Mendy has become #1 by "beating" Bika, and was awarded the next shot at Bute.

all i know is there is a million reasons why Bute doesnt fight this guy or doesnt fight that guy..and when he fights a guy that sucks, like brinkely, magee, and that bum Bika took out in less than a round, they are mandatory or no one else was available..while some of bute reasons are legit..they are out weighed by the others.... so while he feasts on level c fighters....this guy seems to have no problems fighting the best..over and over and over

Carl Froch vs Andre Ward- WBC & WBA super middleweight title (2011)
Carl Froch W12 Glenn Johnson- WBC super middleweight title (2011)
Carl Froch W12 Arthur Abraham- WBC super middleweight title (2010)
Carl Froch L12 Mikkel Kessler- WBC super middleweight title (2010)
Carl Froch KO12 Jermain Taylor- WBC super middleweight title (2009)
Carl Froch W12 Andre Dirrell- WBC super middleweight title (2009)
Carl Froch W12 Jean Pascal- WBC super middleweight title (2008)

not much more can be said when you look at that

If you read the IBF rules it states that mandatory are either no. 1 or 2 challenger. In the link I gave you it is written "eliminator" so I gess it means that the fight between Brinkley and Stevens was an eliminator for a mandatory against Bute. After all IBF ask their boxers to make mandatory each 9 months and so since 2009 we have Andrade I (10/2008), Andrade II (11/2009), Brinkley (10/2010) and Mendy (07/2011).

But I dont know why the IBF sites dont shows results of fights in 2010 (maybe its just my computer though)

Do you realize that you've posted a list of Fights in Super six the tournament that left Bute without an opponent ?! and That Froch dosn't have much say in the name of the opponent when the fight is for a vacant title, same with the IBF eliminator that he didn't want to take place at against Bute.

whats sad, is you have to jump through all those hoops to justify such a **** garbage fight...whether the abc had him andatory or not..the guy foughtt 8 fights of pure garbage,,with his 2 biggest wins being against guys that had 21 wins...the most from any of the previous 9...so you can justify how bute fights that clown... when day in and day out..froch fights
