Will the winner of Prescott v McCloskey go on to face Khan? Or do you think Khan will have moved up a weight class by then?
I don't see either fight happening but I'd prefer to see him fight Prescott rather than McCloskey (who offered little offense). For all the talk about Prescott's punching power, he's only stopped 1 guy since Khan. I'm not sure if his power will have carried to 140. That being said, it would be good for can to draw a line under the whole thing with Prescott and shut up a lot of his detractors.
If Prescott wins maybe, it's an easy fight for Khan, and a chance for him to avenge his only defeat before moving up to 147. If McCloskey wins (which I think he will), then not a chance in hell. NO ONE wants to see him rematch Khan, unless you're clinically insane.
Looks like the Prescott/McCloskey winner will go onto face Maidana which would be interesting. The good thing about the McCloskey/Prescott bout is that I do not know who will win or what will happen in that fight - Certainly one to look forward to.
McCloskey is going to outbox him for 12 rounds. And neither will get to face Khan. Khan will move up to 147 after his next fight.
