    What a bull**** stoppage...****ING BULL****....

Fedor losing is not even the issue....it's just the way it happened that pisses me off. At the time Fedor lost to Antonio , i was thinking that it was a wise decision for him to retire...(he's got nothing to prove at this point in his career and at his age imo)...Still , it's always a pleasure to see any of his fights but that was ridiculous.

    1 he clearly wasn't out.
2 Knowing that this is the type of fighter who can turn the tables and turn critical situations to his advantage....

    This was ****ing bull**** !!!

As a matter of fact , i'm even convinced he would've beaten Antonio if it wasn't for the cut..... (Silva was clearly drained and Emelianenko could've taken advantage of this;...especially since he was starting to get the better of Silva near the end of the 2nd round)....

But !....safety first , and the rules are the rules....But what a damn shame there too. I always knew Fedor would lose because of a cut , just like in his 2nd fight vs Nogueira in 2004 (ruled as a "no contest" in japan)...

Looking at his 3 last losses.

    Werdum (he got caught....it happens)

Silva...(too heavy for him on the ground...But was doing better near the end of the 2nd....but stopped because of the ****ing cut)

Hendo...Gets hurt at the beginning...than goes wild , catches Hendo , gets im on the ground , then hendo surprises him & briefly stuns him , Fedor starts to turn himself to continue and.....The ref intervenes...BULL****...

It's ****ing Emelianenko , past prime or not , this is the guy who can always change the ****ing situation at any moment....I'd understand if he was unconscious , but he wasn't ! for **** sakes !

And don't tell me Hendo was always better than Fedor & that he was overrated...You know it's ****ing bull****.

Prime Hendo lost against Wanderlei , Misaki , Nogueira (both brothers) , Arona... It's not even a question of "styles make fights" at this point...It's just a bull**** stoppage...

i thought the same but didnt the replay show fedor go limp after a punch? He seemed to be out for a split second before coming back again.

Herb Dean saved the guy a beating

It's just because he's named Fedor that you have a problem

BULL****....And i had no problems seeing him lose against Werdum or Antonio (even though i do think he could've taken advantage of the situation in the 3rd if it wasn't for the cut)....

    But this fight ?.....BULL****.

The only fight which tops this **** was the one against Kosaka.

Nah, I thought the fight was stopped a bit early.

I think Fedor would have probably been able to recover or get properlly KOd. He never took any real damage in that fight. Rnd 1 of Maynard vs Edgar as an example of a fight that could have been stopped and wasn't and it went the full 5.

Wasn't super early but he hardly got a chance to continue imo.

Dunno, he IS the guy that got suplexed on his head and neck, looked to be out for a second then finished his opponent off with a shoulder lock.

At the same time, Henderson isn't exactly someone who has light hands. I wouldn't doubt if he was seriously in desperate danger and unable to recover, especially after taking a couple to the back of the head.

Not trying to talk ****, but guys like Hendo and Belfort are the last guys you want hitting you in the back of the head. Kind of strange, no soccer kicks, but you can let these guys with these huge cannons for punches slam their fists to the back of an opponents head.. Just saying.

 Frankie didnt fall face 1st to the canvass with Grey landing 4 or 5 unanswered shot to the head whilst in side control

Dana White only cares for the UFC.....not MMA.

Back of the head, and he wasn't in side control. He also when herb actully stopped it he was moving.

Edgar was all over the place, are you saying that was not an example of a fight that could have been stopped and wasn't?

True, Fedor hit Hendo on the back of the head as well. I dont think either did it intentionally, just heat of the moment

Ok, so if you stop the Edgar fight, then this is a justified stoppage, as Herb literally had to hold Fedor up

There's no arguement for me. If Herb had let another two or three punches land, because as you say, Fedor didnt move until Herb stopped it, Fedor may have been carried out of the cage on a stretcher

Check it out. Guys get buzzed and are on the verge of being knocked out, and the opponent jumps on him like melted butter to bread and they don't care where the punches land.

Just think about this for a second. Someone with huge ****** power like Hendo gets you buzzed, then finishes you off with a couple to the back of the head? Excuse me but that's some ****ed up **** right there.

We saw the same thing happen with Belfort. I can understand the swarming aspect and killer instinct, but at the same time these guys are top notch strikers. One of these days someone's going to get killed if the rules aren't enforced. I think Belfort had Akiyama no problem, that matchup was a nightmare for him but the shots to the back of the head were crazy brutal. I'm all for violence but I don't wan't to see insta brain damage or someone get killed because a rule is enforced half assed.

But I think Fedor could have recovered had he not been blasted in the back of his head. I cant say for sure, only he can but if history tells us anything about the man we know he recovers quite well. At the same time Hendo could have finished him off by just angling his punches a little more. Who knows? We are all kinda just speculating. What we do know is punches to the back of the head seem to be permissible if the opponent is buzzed.

He was as wobbly as that against Fujita.

Like I said it was a bit early for me, but I have seen worse.
