I'm looking for the Froch judo throw if Ward resorts to too much holding.

This has the potential to be one of the dirtiest, most old school fights in years and I hope the ref has a liberal interpretation of the rules. Because regardless of the outcome, i want the loser to have a good case for a rematch. Trilogy baby. Gotta have a trilogy if you wanna be great, and both these guys have greatness in mind.

I'm seriously thinking about making the trip.

    A little?

Some of the most blatant intentional headbutts I've seen since Miranda/Abraham 1.

I respect Ward but I'll be cheering the day that cheat gets knocked on his ass staring at his own nose.

Right, he was comprehensively dismantling Kessler in every round and Ward was like (internal monologue): "screw it, to show my versatility, I'm gonna go ahead and intentionally headbutt Kessler. Here's my chance. And ... ready, aim and FIRE! Got him! Totally gratuitous -- I love it!"

Intentional headbutts occur in street brawls among neo-nazis, games of soccer, and in Hollywood blockbusters starring Vin Diesel.

This is good stuff. Froch has the right attitude. Any headbutts from Ward and it is return to-sender. Ironically Kessler was told by the ref not to use his head in the Ward fight. Don't think Froch will buy such non-sense. Let us hope for a clean fight and that Froch puts some leather and, if needed, some hard cranium on Ward. If for no other reason then to shut up that ghetto-blaster MichiganWarrior and his ghetto logics.

(Addressed to MichiganWarrior: Why don't you take a look at Kessler's face after the Ward fight. Then you'll see how your case "Ward is not a headbutter" makes you look like a c..t.)

He lost a good opportunity to say he'd butt him back to Oakland.

The butts were the least of what Froch should be concerned about Ward did to Kessler.

Nice try but I've seen the fight.

You can see Ward aiming in some of the slo mo replays.

Blatant intentional headbutts and the fact that he was controlling the fight makes it worse.

And when Ward fights in Oakland.

I have never seen anyone headbutt like Ward. It was epic, man. Epic. Shaolin flying headbutt kung fu.

Ward places his head in position, lower his upper body and goes for it. You can fallow every step on the slow mo replay. Man, that was some crazy **** :admin

yeah I'm turning into a fan myself. I can't stand that Hatton style hitting, holding, butting and mugging way of fighting. That's not fighting, that's anti-fighting designed to prevent someone from throwing combinations, moving their feet or doing anything else skill-related. It kills fights. It's like the lay and pray in MMA, and fighters shouldn't get away with it.
