It's a closed circuit, essentially a different league of boxing... Wlad really ****ed that up by winning the real WBA title.

The WBA is like tee-ball for 5 year olds in the US.No matter what place you come in everyone walks away with a trophy.

if he wins the regular title, is he officially a five time heavyweight champion?

If he repeats it enough, people will credit it to him like Tarver and his illustrious IBO title.

Let grandpa act out his senile world title fantasies with his shiny WBF toy and stay the hell out of the real boxing world.

Even if by some miracle Holy could beat the winner of this match, it would be ****ing criminal, yes criminal, for any athletic comission to sanction a match between Holy and a Klit.

They wouldn't hurt him. I'm pretty sure they both hold him in high regard.

It would be 12 rounds of exhibition-like slap-boxing.

I'm starting to think that Holyfield has Bender Syndrome. For those who don't know, Bender is a robot from the show Futurama who, instead of getting drunk off of alcohol, requires it in order to function properly. Abstaining from the drink is what gives him hangovers. And so it is with Holyfield and fighting.

Evander seems well enough despite having already been a professional for approximately 120 years- his real prime occurring in the the Battle Royale circuit of the old south. In fact, he sounds better than some fighters with a fraction of his mileage. The instant he stops fighting and getting hit, the instant that all changes, the dementia sets in, and he lives his live as a turnip.

The old war horse has no choice but to keep going.

Holy couldn't beat Ibragimov 3 or 4 years ago so he's not going to beat the winner of Povektin or Chagaev now. He won't even beat the loser. He should stay on the senior circuit
