Pac did it because he started his career off as a physically undeveloped, severely weight-drained teenager. He naturally grew into his body as his career progressed and has managed to hang on to the physical attributes that make him successful while refining his technical skills over the years (although people tend to overrated just how much he's improved in that sense). Donaire is a fully developed man already. Anyone who thinks there is any comparison to be made here (probably just the Pinoy fans) has to have a Forrest Gump-level IQ.

Pac had age on his side as well... Donaire is only a few years younger and he is going to have to go up 1 division every 6 months to even attempt at doing what Pac did

If he wasn't a Filo we wouldnt even be having this discussion. A side Mef yo!

Anthony Mundine is attempting to move down 9 divisions, thats an achievement in itself.

He can definitely do it. But even if he does it doesn't mean he will be as great as Floyd and Pacquiao. It depends on who he wins and loses against.

If he goes on to beat Gamboa and Rigondeux, he will be on track to be the next Floyd or Pacquiao but if he can't get those fights he wont be on track. It's a matter of him getting big fights as he moves up, nobody doubts that he will move up.

difference is Mundine is a bum who goes down divisions to avoid people like Kessler, and gets KOd by ex rugby league players in the process

**** that, my money has him taking titles all the way up to Heavyweight! By that time technology will have advanced us to the point where time travel is possible, and all the old vs new matchups we've ever wanted to see will be able to take place.

Donaire vs Canto at Flyweight: Donaire by early KO. Check hook. Canto lost to Park.

Donaire vs Jofre at Bantamweight: Jofre lost to Harada. Early KO for Donaire.

Donaire vs Pep at Featherweight: Pep lost to Saddler 3 times! He's no match for Donaire and his mighty left hook hammer of the gods.

Donaire vs Duran at Lightweight: Duran says "No mas!"

Donaire vs Robinson at Welterweight: Would be a good fight, but Donaire's left hook>Robinson's left hook. Donaire by decision.

Donaire vs Monzon at Middleweight: Donaire is too fast, wins a wide UD.

Donaire vs Charles at Lt. Heavyweight: Charles got KD'd too many times. Of course he isn't measuring up to Donaire's left hook. Donaire KO5.

Donaire vs Ali at Heavyweight: No rope a dope is gonna work on Donaire. Gives Ali a beating just like Holmes did.

After that he takes on Ironman, but Ironman's high tech mega suit and missile blasters are no match for the missile in Donaire's left hand! KO2 Ironman.

Next up is Superman. He may have the ability to sneaze away galaxies, but let's see him sneeze at Donaire's check hook! Donaire KO6 Superman.

Galactus and Thanos are up next. Being as it's a tag team matchup, they give Donaire a bit of trouble in the early goings before he gages their reaction timing and blasts them both simultaneously with a left hook that goes through Galactus straight into Thanos. KO8 the God-like duo.

Donaire then destroys Earth, knowing the planet is useless for him, and resumes the rest of his immortal days devouring planets and solar systems.

Doniare doesn't have the drive and power to fight on his walk around weight, 135 will be pushing it...

Those are some crazy expectations, to predict a bantam and former flyweight could win titles all the way up to welter. Pac did it impressively when no-one thought he could, but it's not as easy as he's made it look. I don't think we'll be seeing a rash of 6,7,8 division champions because of it, due to the risk involved in going up and fighting beyond your natural weight against bigger guys. Generally, todays fighters don't take those kind of risks and more concerned with getting the most money for the least risk. Donaire seems to want to fight the best, but he also seems like one concerned with money with the situation he got himself into by breaking his contract. He's got the skills to do special things, but whether he goes the Mayweather route, or the Pacquiao route when he resumes his career remains to be seen.
