Jesus I wish they had given him the title when he clearly beat Valuev... that way he probably would have retired by now or got KOd by Wlad and not come back. He will keep fighting until he gets that belt, and I truly fear for his safety in the ring.

Just create a WBC Platinum Diamond Gold Interim belt, put him in with Botha again and then HOPEFULLY he will disappear

He will not beat Povetkin, but has a slightly better chance against Chagaev... no i take it back, he has no chance

:think Do you think the Holyfield that beat (but didn't get a win over) Valuev would have fared well against the Chagaev that did officially (and a bit more comfortably) beat Valuev?

nah, i think Chagaev would have done even better against Holyfield because of the size similarity... Chagaev has a fairly short reach and against those Euro monsters he struggles a bit getting inside. He would have been able to rough old Evander up on the inside and win a fairly comfy UD... especially in Germany

Any1 think Holy could pull a Carl Thompson on Haye?

If Haye wins a belt again I think this would be the most possible route for Holy to become champ again.

Based on the thirteen rounds he's logged this year, he could take free whacks on Haye and not TCOB.

In fact, given that Sherman Williams was hurting him and probably in all honesty got robbed of a win over him I'd have to pick Haye to stop Holyfield. And I hate Haye.

If Chagaev wins, how can Sauerland promise Holyfield a shot???? Sauerland does not promote Chagaev, only Povetkin:think

Yeah Haye would def be the favorite but Haye's will and spirit shatter when his opponent takes his best shots, keeps coming and refuses to give in. Haye hates pressure and relentlessness like the plague.

Thompson took a hellacious beating yet he persevered and the veteran managed to tough it out on will and guts alone. I could see Holy doing something like that.

Do you know the contract? Universum does not have any TV contract. So maybe the winner of the fight will be promoted by Sauerland in the future.

I remember not that long ago it was a disgrace to have Holyfield fighting 2 other 2nd rate HW champions in Ibragimov and Valuev. Holyfield was competitive in both and most people felt he was robbed against Valuev.

It was fairly long ago (a few years now) and he was in his mid-forties at the time. He is now pushing fifty.

Also, the guys who possess the belts now are a wee bit better than Valuev and Ibragimov...wouldn't you say?

Holyfield was robbed againt Valuev, that´s sure. It was a shame.

Holyfield makes Valuev looks like a fool. I enjoy this fight. Hoylfied moves and Valuev does not know what to do.

Unfortunaly Holyfield was robbed by Sauerland.
