I'm taking it back... Floyd/Ortiz will be a competitive fight..

The more I watch Ortiz's fight against BertHoe the more I'm convinced his fight against Floyd will be a competitive one. We saw Floyd engaged Mosley more than what he wanted and I think because he lost some steps. This is the reason why Floyd can't do to Ortiz what he did to Gatti (RIP & hang that *****). If Ortiz can cut the ring off and just swarm Floyd and punch whatever part is legal, Floyd will be in a defensive mode and Ortiz can steal some rounds. If this fight happened 5 years ago Ortiz will be Gatti'ed for sure.

It will be competitive. Every one of Floyd's fights are competitive because he does not knock people out in the first round. Competition is there as long as an opportunity for him to get hurt exists.

Really cant see it although i hope it is. Lets not forget, 1 performance doesnt turn you into a superman. Before the berto fight Ortiz was regarded as a glass jawed fraud/quitter/joke by most posters on here, and now Berto is regarded as a Hype job!!!

Its easy to get caught up in Hype for a fight. Mayweather will end this fight when he chooses to.

berto had one of the shittest corners that night, "come on baby you could do this" (little brother" "shows these people what you got son" coach,

no advice, no plan and you could see in his face that he was losing moral,

Floyd's corner on the other hand is going to be the SAS of all boxing corners, everyone has a job to do and they do it extremely well

i expect ortiz to be live and for floyd to win.

but you do realize how old ortiz was 5 years ago? not really a fair point.

So floyd walking mosley down was all because his lost some steps?

Mayweather really cant win. He fights v shane in a way that fans and mosley had no idea he was going to do yet this was because he had to and could pot shot?

I ain buying it. He fought the right fight v mosley and it was nothing to do with his legs now gone.

Some people fall for the hype so easily. Why dont you just give them your PIN code and transfer all your money over?

Ortiz is too green, he's not even an elite fighter if PBF struggles with him that reflects more on PBF not on Ortiz...

Not really. Ortiz can steal at least 4 rounds just by being active. Ortiz should bully and push Floyd around and I have no doubt Ortiz will be the bigger stronger one. He only has to have that DOG mentality just like the BertHoe fight. Of all the Floyd fights, I think this fight is gonna be like the Castillo 1 where Floyd will be tested at one point. Ortiz being southpaw will make things interesting. I could be totally wrong though and will look like a complete tool but I'm watching it.

Ortiz will try to rough-house early, but Floyd will make him look like a clown. I'm predicting Ortiz' corner will throw in the towel or Ortiz will quit on his stool somewhere around the 9th round.
