When you have a world champion and then you’re coming up and creating another world champion. I thought I was the world champion? No, we just gave you a title. You’re the super champion, or you’re the platinum champion. Boxing is so confusing with four major boxing bodies and four champions, and now you’re going to start splitting it up and having two world champions in the same weight and same organization. It’s totally a joke and it’s an embarrassment to boxing. There is so much confusion that if I wasn’t just in boxing at the level I was, just as a general fan in the public, I wouldn’t have any interest any more. There is too much confusion already. You were the WBA champion. Povetkin wouldn’t fight Wladimir Klitschko because he never thought he was ready, so they created a situation where he can still fight and be world champion without fighting Klitschko and they did the same thing in the WBC where they gave it to Julio Cesar Chavez Junior and they created a situation where he could be a world champion without fighting a world champion. If we continue to do this, boxing is having its problems already except maybe for just the super fights, this doesn’t help us at all.

The situation described by Manny is a whole lot more ****ed than the complaints Ty & Franus have about the IBO's no mandatory policy.

Why are you two nuffies largely silent on the corrupt practices of the major orgs but are obsessed with the IBO?

Listen Toni, I agree with everything Steward says. Boxing is a farce these days. It has never been in a worse state and I don't see how it will ever get itself back on track with viewers having more and more sporting options to watch these days. You need to be internet savvy to follow boxing in this country and the average sports fan knows nothing about the sport. They probably think that Danny Green was a genuine dangerous cruiserweight world champion.

Why are you so happy to defend the IBO Toni ? Is it because at boxing shows some boxing people are happy to give you a wink and shake your hand to make you feel special ?
