According to Boxrec, Canelo Alvarez is gonna fight on Sept17 at Staples Center

    I read somewhere that the reason Canelo is fighting at the Staples Centre rather than Vegas on that night is because he felt he was too big to be on an undercard now (even the undercard of a major PPV). So he was given the Staples Centre fight so technically he was the main event of that show. Seems to have gotten an ego quickly...I hope he doesn't become some sort of primadonna before he achieves anything.

    He needs to fight Pawel Wolak, Delvin Rodriguez, Vanes Martirosyan, Alfredo Angulo, Demitrius Andrade, or another top ranked fighter next for me to say he is a legit titleholder. Don't be like Chavez Jr.
