Yes he is. And it's the perfect fight for Kev. Katsidis was brutalised by JMM despite the third round, and Guerrero also beat him up for 12 rounds. These poundings won't do Kats any favours. On the flip side, Kev has just turned in a career best performance against Murray.

 

Mitchell relied on a accumulative effect to beat Murray. Despite the Mendoza KO Mitchell doesn't bang that hard at LW. He's always used a more pure boxer style in his LW days because of size difference and opponents he's facing. Problem with this is fact he can't seem to keep one dimensional tram line fighters like Murray away from landing.

For me Katsidis for all his brawling has a better defense then Murray and also has better footwork and punch variation and power. I expect Katsidis to catch Mitchell again around round 4-5.

For all the excuses he lost early and looked scared of Katsidis when throwing jabs and fighting in reverse.
