In the meantime 140 lb Donaire look alike 19 year old Jason Pagara is fighting in a week or two.Couple of new emerging promising exciting young prospects in the Islands. The return Sonsona and of course two other General Santos hard power punchers, Jr Edurot and Froilan Saludar will see action this month.Boxing is becoming like Mexico in the Islands boxing matches are held nearly every month sometimes every week.

Nonito is more versatile than Gam. He's also smaller.....I have no doubt that Nonito is the better boxer but the size and power could be too much for Nonito to over come if he doesn't carry his speed, power and reflexes up to a higher weight class.

Its all about timing... We know gamboa has the speed.. but he can be timed and Donaire has speed and timing.. plus good footwork.. great match up however Gamboa might just be too big...

    Just, let's do it
    Bring nonito vs gamboa ASAP
Then people can talk all the **** they want
Hope I could see nonito vs rigondeaux first... But if arum want to make the Gamboa fight, he will keep donaire very far from rigo

Not sure if Gamboa will face Juanma for early 2012, since Juanma wants the Salido fight badly but for some reason it hasnt happend yet. It will be nice to see these guys fight. It will be very impressive if Gamboa is able to defeat both Juanma and Donaire in 2012 in my opinion and if it does happen, he will def. make it in my top 3 P4P:good

I'll believe it when I see it. The last time Arum could put one of his marketable stars in with Gamboa, he did everything he could to avoid it. Does the phrase "**** the fans" sound familiar?

If Donaire beats the Rafa-Nishioka winner, maybe Rigo too then a good fighter at 126, this would be a hardcore fans dream. Given the way Top Rank have handled Gamboa though, I just can't see it. Hope I'm wrong though.

Gamboa is one of the only guys I'd confidently pick to beat Donaire.

Exactly!! These are the most logical fights for him. Arum is doing his job and that is to talk **** and promote but in this case it makes no sense. Not more than Rios vs Pacquiao actually.

Arum's just bull******g the fans , he knows a fight like this won't happen in a LONG time ( if it ever happens at all ) .... Donaire/Rigondeaux at 122 on the other hand sounds more REASONABLE at this stage of Nonito's career than a Donaire/Gamboa at 126 ( IMO ) , I also think that Nonito is one of the few boxers who aren't afraid of Rigo at the moment and if he moves up this will be the only fight that really makes sense for him ( and the fans ) . Donaire/Rigondeaux , ! Bring it on ! . Peace .

Donaire would be at a distinct size disadvantage but he hits hard as **** and Gamboa has a disgraceful Glass Jaw to go along with his porous defense.
