Haye vs Klitschko was a **** PPV.

The undercard was absolute wank, but Sky could have insisted on something better or just told them it was going on regular TV.

At least with an Allegedly PPV you get at least two good fights. With Haye's you didn't get any.

there was no way in hell haye vs klit would have been on regular tv that was the second most demanded match up in boxing.

    Only by Haye nuthuggers.

I'd lost interest in it after about the 349th excuse from ''The ****''.

It was obvious Klitschko would have him, his inactivity reduced him into a crude banger that spent all night running trying desperately not to get clipped.

There was at least a dozen fights that were higher on my list than Haye/Klit.

the only way we can develop talent and big fights is with PPV.
“People might say, ‘Screw that, why should we pay money’, but the simple reason is that is how it works in television and has done in America for God knows how long. That is how they’ve brought fighters and fights through, otherwise you reduce to a certain standard and it will be very difficult to rise above that.

but none of your fighters are ppv standard frank.

where is your de la hoya, pac, mayweather, vargas, trinidad etc.

nothing there so stop moaning.

The point about the Haye and Khan promotional outfits not investing back in the sport is a fair one.

obviously, anyone who knew anything about boxing knew wlad would win but it was the biggest event in years.

we even had the most users ever online here at that time.

Cant really argue with Haye Klit being PPV as lots of people bought into Haye and his big mouth. Anyone who watched boxing regularly knew he was a getting beat and b the fight would be a snoozefest.

Sky have half screwed themselves with poor PPVs though, charging £15 for a domestic dust up in Groves V Degale, putting serial losers such as Audley Harrison on PPV despite showing no evidence of being world level ever. Spending most PPVs analysing instead of putting decent bouts on.

I dont personally mind PPV if it helps big fights being made, the problem is hardley all PPV are not big worldclass matchups and is just Sky and the promoters trying to greed every penny they can from the fans

no other fight has the significance haye/klit did except for pac/floyd

if pac vs floyd turns out to be a snoozefest will you also blame cry about why that was on ppv?

People talk about going to America for fights but then you’re expecting people to stay up until four or five in the morning, would you rather pay fifteen quid to watch boxing in the wee small hours or for a UK bill?”

    rubbish.

he's really bothered about us lot staying awake till the early hours.

he makes more money out of home fights.

unless his fighter is going over for a big vegas fight at the casino's.

which none of em are in a position to do that right now. :verysad

I love how he always brings up that Salita card as if it was some incredible card.
