    Exactly. Douglas was kinda' like Golata.

    He was one of the best HW's this sport has ever seen. - for exactly one day.

    I don't like to call World Champions talentless, but I'd say the most
    limited world champion was Carlos Mausa, he fought kind of like a
    scarecrow getting tossed around in the wind. John Ruiz despite what
    many say was actually a fairly skilled guy, didnt always show it but
    hey.

    he was very talented, could have been ATG heavyweight, but lacked motivation

    The only things Ruiz was "skilled" at were illegal tactics like holding excessively and faking "low blows."

    Douglas was horrific! Never beat a name (outside of Tyson) and even got KTFO'd by a pro bodybuilder!:lol:

    ruiz was an over achieving spoiler who didnt have blazing speed or KO power but he foud away to win and that is a talent

    he mauled inside like hatton but didnt hug like he has been accused of

    as far as a talentless guy to win a belt i cant think of any because most had to have something in order to win a belt

    i know boxing is watered down now a days with titles but you kant be a total bum and win one
