    Round 5

Povetkin jabs and backs up, always facing Chagaev and keeping center-aligned with him. Chagaev is reaching with his right jab and getting it hung up on Povetkin's shoulder, taking body shots as he retracts. Chagaev paws with the right jab now a bit lower, doubling it in the direction of Povetkin's jaw. Chagaev isn't able to get close, as Povetkin keeps out-walking him and dropping in to land short counter combos every now and then. Stinging right hand lead over the top by Povetkin, lands on Chagaev's temple to score cleanly but doesn't make him blink. Chagaev keeps coming, pawing with his right jab and finally throwing a big left cross but failing to hit paydirt as he pushes Povetkin into a corner for a brief instant before the inevitable escape. A bit of clinching and trading duster-sweeps inside. Povetkin landed a good flurry to the face but got grazed with a left hand pulling out.

    50-45 Povetkin

Sounds like Chagaev who I think has a bit more power needs to start letting his hands go.

    Round 6

Chagaev is loading everything into his left hands. He's fishing for a one-shot KO, and he hurts Povetkin with one! Chagaev hurries forward a bit faster now, driving through with that left hand. Povetkin jabs and preemptively strikes out with his 1-2 while making haste to flee. Chagaev keeps pumping the left hand in and always makes at least incidental contact, bothering Povetkin a lot. Most of the lefts are sliding against the right side of Povetkin's head, but they're all affecting him. Chagaev is even able to land the odd right hook as Povetkin's head droops down in reaction to a left hand. Chagaev throws a right jab up at the air, then quickly covers up to block a quick Povetkin flurry at his face. One more left hand lead thrust out by Chagaev and glancing again.

    10-9 Chagaev

    59-55 Povetkin

The only good think the WBA did here was making it a 12 round match. Sounds like Chagaev's power could trun the tide, and produce a knock down which would make the last few rounds very exciting.
