8th round was a lame round by both, chaga pressing the action more but povet had some cleaner shots on target. up for grasp, even probably

Oh my gosh Teddy just said "WE can create magic, we can bring your father back tonight when he was talking to Povetkin." This is more cringeworthy than with Moorer. The man is neurotic and has hit a new low.

I hope Povetkin's translator is messing up what Atlas is saying.

teddy tries to find the sensitive spot of the figher and then tap in and try and motivate them with it during tough fights. some guys respond, some don't. i hope that isn't the only strategy teddy has brought to the table

    Round 9

Chagaev walks into an uppercut that only lands obliquely, but fails to take advantage of being unexpectedly close to Povetkin as he misses his own outpouring of power punches. Povetkin is taking sliding steps back out of the way of Chagaev's right jab. Lead right by Povetkin before taking a quick lateral step. Combo into the gloves by Povetkin. They lean together and grind. Chagaev keeps trying to jab his way in, but Povetkin keeps slap-parrying him. Now Povetkin leans in for a moment to land a hook and works the body. Chagaev is again unable to land with Povetkin right in front of him. Povetkin stays outside and uses some jabs and feints to neutralize Chagaev's jab.

    10-9 Povetkin

    88-83 Povetkin
