Did hopkins actually lose to a white boy?

Nah, he won by a good 3 points.

 

Hopkins won by three or four points. Video analysis of the fight shows something opposite of what compu box stats and HBO commentators were saying. It is what it is though, judges sit there and watch a fight from one angle at ringside. They aren't watching it on closed circuit, with replays and slow motion or anything.

 

Maybe you should rewatch it............... Hopkins let himself down big time in this fight and when he was getting dominated claimed a low blow to buy time, thats a warrior of a man eh, and then hyped the american fans up saying he didnt get beat, get over it beaten by 4 rounds.......FACT.

 

I have rewatched a few times. I thought Hopkins won initially. That he did was even more clear when reviewing and analyzing fight footage. He landed the crisper punches of the fight. He landed the harder punches of the fight. He was never hurt. Calzaghe was down, but also buckled three or four times. Calzaghe often couldn't hit the side of a barn. Hopkins only problem was that his cardio was almost non existent in the fight. He was later diagnosed with a thyroid condition, and gotten it treated. He hasn't gassed that bad since then. Hell, he did very well for running out of gas half way through, and that the fight was a controversial decision with fans split about down the middle, shows you what kind of fighter Hopkins is. Nobody doubts he wins easy if he is at 100% for the fight.

 

Both of them didn't deserve to win that fight.
