    Round 12

Atlas was right. Chagaev comes out very aggressive, throwing perhaps even more intently than he did in the 6th. Povetkin looks uncomfortable as he backs away and tries to seek sanctuary on the ropes (letting Chagaev charge into them, and then spinning away before Chagaev can reset) but is avoiding damage for the most part. THUDDING overhand left by Chagaev. Povetkin has almost no offense except for a few slap-out flurries to keep Chagaev from barging right in on him. Chagaev is back to leading with his left, and is waving his arms at his sides and in front of his stomach to pump himself up. Povetkin misses a wild combo as Chagaev abandons a dive inside. They trade sloppy uppercuts inside. Chagaev keeps hunting, but doesn't get that trophy to mount on his wall.

    Povetkin survived, and should win.

    117-111 Povetkin

Unless this is a bigtime screw job going to happen...((This is boxing)) Povetkin should have this one. But I didn't see anything in this fight that makes me feel that Povetkin can beat the brothers.

****, if Chagaev threw more punches he could have won that fight. He wasn't overmatched, Povetkin just threw more and threw in combinations. Good win for Povetkin anyway. Jumps him back up to third on my list
